Scahffaner Manufacturing Acqusition of Belanger Abrasives

Schaffner Manufacturing is pleased to announce the acquisition of Belanger Abrasives, a long time manufacturer of heavy duty large diameter mechanical flap wheels and other abrasive products.

We are extremely proud of this marriage of two important Flap Wheel manufactures: Schaffner Manufacturing and Belanger Abrasives. Since 1969 Belanger Abrasives has been known for high quality custom made mechanical flap wheels with a well earned reputation for customer service. Belanger Abrasives holds several patents and has long been an innovative force in the metal finishing industry. Together Schaffner Manufacturing and Belanger Abrasives are the unquestioned industry leader in the manufacture of industrial Flap Wheels.

Schaffner Manufacturing welcomes Belanger Abrasives into our industrial metal finishing family featuring Buffing Wheels, Buffing Compounds and FLAPWHEELS. Brian Koestering will continue to act as sales manager for Belanger Abrasives products. He brings with him almost 30 years of experience and a long time passion for the industry. The Belanger Abrasive products will continue to be made at the Northville, MI facility. The Schaffner Industrial Finishing Family will be headquartered in Pittsburgh , PA.
