Schaffner Buffing Wheels
Buffing wheels are the delivery mechanism for applying polishing compound to the item being buffed or polished. Schaffner manufacturing makes a wide variety of buffing wheels and pads to match your specific metal finishing application. From stainless steel, copper, zinc and brass to plastic and non-ferrous materials, Schaffner manufactures specific buffing wheels for almost every polishing operation and material. To better help you select the right buffing wheel for your application we have broken out the buffing wheels into the type of buff operation as well as the specific phase of buff and polish.

Mush Buffing Wheels: This type of buffing literally surrounds the entire item being polished. This process is designed for automated machines and runs at a slower speed to achieve results. |

Tangential Buffing Wheels: Tangential buffing is one of the oldest buffing processes and the mainstay of the metal finishing industry. Tangential buffing is best suited for buffing objects with flat or simple shapes and uses high RPMs to cut buff and color the item being polished |
